We are excited to announce our first-ever poinsettia fundraiser. Poinsettias not only make a beautiful addition to your holiday decor but also serve as thoughtful gifts. Moreover, a portion of the sales will go directly toward our efforts in preserving our shared heritage and the history that unites us.

You can pre-order your poinsettia starting Thursday, October 1, 2026. Choose from stunning options provided by Huron Ridge Greenhouses:

  • 6-inch single plants in either vibrant red, crisp white or elegant marble at $13 each

  • 8-inch triple plants in either of the above colours at $32 each

Place an Order

You can either give us a call at 519-565-4018 (our volunteer Nancy is happy to help you) or complete our simple online form by clicking the button above. Pre-order payments are accepted by mailing a cheque to the Bayfield Historical Society, 20 Main Street North, P.O. Box 161, N0M 1G0, or by e-transfer to etransfers.bhs@gmail.com, and must be received by Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Pick-up details

After placing your order, you can pick up your poinsettia at the Archives on Main Street during Christmas in Bayfield on:

  • Saturday, November 14 between 10am and 5pm, and

  • Sunday, November 15, between 10 am and 5 pm. 

Poinsettias with a purpose

The fundraiser is part of the Society’s celebration of Christmas in Bayfield, taking place from November 13 to 15, a beloved tradition, now in its 35th year! Traditions like these form the foundation of our community, and the Bayfield Historical Society is committed to preserving them.
